At Athena Women’s Clinic, we aim to provide quality, affordable healthcare to all women and their families.

Athena Women’s Clinic

We provide care from pre-conception, all the way through pregnancy and during the postnatal period. We aim to help families transition safely and confidently into parenthood, and promote wellness for women during this time.

Our team is led by an experienced GP Obstetrician, Dr Kavipriya Soma, who has been practicing within the area for the last 10 years. Dr Soma is supported by qualified Endorsed Midwives, who also provide antenatal and postnatal care.

Our team also includes another experienced GP who sees all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in Urogynaecology and General Gynaecology.

Athena Women’s Clinic accepts patients by appointment only.
All procedures must be booked with reception – not online.
Walk-ins are generally not encouraged at Athena. Please call prior and we may be able to accommodate on the day, depending on the category or urgency.
Home visits are only provided after prior arrangements with the client.

Athena Women’s Clinic strives to do our best to see you in a reasonable timeframe. Please book online, or call one of our friendly receptionists for booking and fee information.

If you require assistance outside of our clinics hours in an Emergency and you are able to drive, please head to your closest Emergency Department or call “000” for paramedics to attend.
